Terms of Service

Version 1 · effective 7 Sept 2026

This policy is still in draft

Drafted for Indian law during the prototype phase. Contains placeholders for legal entity, registered address, grievance officer and support email. Not yet reviewed by a qualified Indian lawyer. We are showing it anyway rather than showing nothing, so you can see how we intend to handle your data while the final version is prepared.

Terms of Service

Effective date: [EFFECTIVE DATE]

These terms are the agreement between you and [LEGAL ENTITY NAME], [REGISTERED ADDRESS], India ("Saayou", "we", "us"). By creating an account you accept them.

1. Saayou is a beta prototype

Saayou is an early product under active development. It is provided as is. Features are incomplete, may behave unexpectedly, may change, and may be withdrawn. Do not rely on Saayou for anything critical.

2. What Saayou is, and what it is not

Saayou is an information platform. We score supplement products against a published rubric, and we generate suggested protocols from information you give us.

Saayou is not a seller. We do not manufacture, stock, ship, or sell supplements. We do not take payment for products. When you decide to buy something, you buy it from the brand or retailer, on their site, under their terms. Any dispute about a product, its price, its delivery, or its condition is between you and that seller.

Saayou is not a medical service. We are not doctors, dietitians, or pharmacists. Nothing on Saayou is medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a prescription. Saayou does not claim to cure, treat, mitigate, or prevent any disease or condition. Always talk to a qualified healthcare professional before starting, stopping, or changing any supplement, especially if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a medical condition, or take prescription medication.

If you have a medical emergency, contact a doctor or emergency services. Do not use Saayou.

3. Eligibility

You must be 18 or older and legally able to enter a contract in India. One account per person. You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for what happens under your account.

4. What you tell us must be accurate

Protocols and safety flags are generated from what you enter. If your information is wrong or incomplete, the output will be too. Safety screening cannot catch every interaction, and its absence of a warning is not a statement that something is safe for you.

5. Trust Scores: how to read them

Trust Score is our opinion, formed by applying a published 100 point rubric across five dimensions: dose adequacy and formulation, scientific evidence, regulatory certifications, disclosure and testing, and manufacturing transparency.

Important limits, stated plainly:

  • Scores are currently pre-lab. They are based on publicly available product and brand information, not on independent laboratory testing of the product in your hand. Where a score reflects our assessment rather than a verified fact, we say so.
  • A score is a comparison tool, not a guarantee of safety, quality, purity, efficacy, or label accuracy.
  • Scores change as information changes.
  • No brand can pay to influence a score, to raise its position, or to appear in a recommendation. If that ever changes, it will be disclosed prominently and this clause will be rewritten.

If you are a brand and believe a score is wrong, write to us with evidence. We will review it and correct it if the evidence supports that.

6. Affiliate disclosure

Some links on Saayou are affiliate links, including links to Amazon India under the Amazon Associates programme and links directly to brands. If you buy through one, Saayou may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

This never affects a Trust Score, a ranking, or a recommendation. Products without an affiliate arrangement are scored and recommended on exactly the same basis.

7. Product information may be wrong

Product names, prices, images, ingredients, and availability come from brand sources and change without notice. We show a price as approximate and it may be out of date. Always check the seller's page and the physical label before you buy or take anything.

8. Acceptable use

Do not: scrape or bulk extract our content, copy the Trust Score data set for a competing service, reverse engineer the platform, break in or try to, upload anything unlawful or malicious, impersonate anyone, or use Saayou to give medical advice to other people.

We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

9. Your content and our content

You keep ownership of what you enter. You grant us a licence to process it in order to run the service as described in the Privacy Policy.

Saayou's rubric, scores, written assessments, interface, and brand are ours. You may not reproduce them commercially without written permission.

Brand names, product names, and product images belong to their respective owners and are used to identify products.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent Indian law permits, Saayou is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, for any decision you make about your health based on the platform, for anything about a product you buy from a third party, or for loss of data during beta.

Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you have paid Saayou in the 12 months before the claim, which during beta is zero.

11. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or end accounts that breach these terms, and we may discontinue the service. If we discontinue it, we will give reasonable notice so you can export or delete your data.

12. Grievances

Grievance Officer: [GRIEVANCE OFFICER NAME] Email: [GRIEVANCE EMAIL] Address: [REGISTERED ADDRESS]

We acknowledge complaints within 48 hours and aim to resolve them within 30 days, in line with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [CITY], India have exclusive jurisdiction.

14. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will notify you in the app and by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Saayou after that means you accept the new terms.
